Process

How to Apply

Follow these steps to submit your application.

01

Reach Out

Contact the programme office to express your interest. We’ll have an informal conversation about the programme, your background, and whether PEM is the right fit for you. No pressure — just an honest chat.

02

Submit Your Application

Prepare and submit your application with your CV, clinical portfolio, and references from senior clinicians who know your work. Show us your experience, your interest in paediatrics, and why you want to subspecialise.

03

Interview

Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview. This is your chance to demonstrate your clinical acumen, your passion for children’s emergency care, and your commitment to seeing the 3-year programme through. We’re looking for drive, not perfection.

04

Offer & Onboarding

Successful applicants receive a formal offer and are onboarded into the programme. You’ll meet your supervising faculty, get your rotation schedule, and begin what we honestly think will be the most rewarding three years of your medical career.

Intake

When to Apply

We accept 2 trainees per year — a deliberately small intake to ensure every fellow gets the mentorship, clinical exposure, and supervision they deserve. Expressions of interest are welcome at any time. If you’re thinking about it, don’t wait for a deadline — reach out to the programme office and start the conversation.

Your Application Starts a Journey.

Take the step. The programme — and the children who need you — are waiting.
